Wendell & Lauretta McGowan

Wendell was born in Richmond, California and was raised in Redding, CA.  He served in the U.S. Army and went to Vietnam.  When he returned home from his tour of duty, he married his wife, Lauretta, in 1972.  They have 3 children, Donelle (who now resides in Heaven with Jesus), Rochelle, her husband Mark, Wendell 2nd, his wife Jenni, and their 3 sons, Wendell 3rd, Austin and Dylan, who all reside in LasVegas, Nevada.

Wendell and Lauretta have been in the forefront of the renewal being experienced in Northern California.  They have been instrumental in bringing the body of Christ in unity in their community.  It is through their demonstration of love for their peers, regardless of denominational ties that have made this possible.

About 6 years ago, they heard God tell them that it was time to pick up their tent pegs and expand their borders.  In obedience to Christ they gave up their local church of 20+ years and moved to Las Vegas, NV where they travel full time.

They consistently reach and live a message and lifestyle full of vision and hope through Christ.  They have a heart to see each believer take their place in ministry in the body of Christ operating to their fullest potential.  They both are called to stir a fire in the body of Christ both locally and nationally.

Wendell is both Prophet and a revivalist.  Wendell has the heart of a Father with an evangelistic thrust.  Although they walk in diversity of gifts, Wendell operates mainly in a prophetic anointing. Lauretta’s heart is to minister to the hurtling; especially ones going through tragedies that they can’t seem to overcome in their lives. Since the murder do their daughter, Donelle, in 1990, Lauretta has fought to overcome the battles of forgiveness and giving everything to God through horrific circumstances. She teaches hope in hope in the midst of tragedy, Love through impossible situations and victory to a overcoming life.

They are both used in spiritual warfare, and in the laying on of hands for healing, both emotional and physically. Lauretta is also co/founder of a ministry based out of LasVegas called Greater LasVegas Women’s ministry. (www.GLVWM.com) Which desires to support all women in meeting their full potential in the Lord.

Evangelist Kim Scott

Walking in the authority and power of the Holy Spirit exemplifies the life and ministry of Evangelist Kim Scott. Although growing up in the church and being life-long believer, it was not until New Year’s Eve 1999 during a Watch Night Service that she heard the voice of God did she become intimately acquainted with her heavenly Father. This experience was the turning point in her life that placed her on the path to ministry. From that moment, it was evident that God had a mission for her life and the life she previously enjoyed would not continue.

A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada Evangelist Kim Scott’s conversion did not begin at the start of the new millennium. Her journey to an intimate relationship with the Father began eight years prior while a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. “Getting real to get healed” was necessary for her deliverance from addictions. With that same tenacity, she overcame her addictions she pursues God. Spending hours poring over the bible and seeking to know the person of God brought her to a place where she began to discover the Father’s heart.

What makes Evangelist Kim Scott and her ministry different is her passionate pursuit of God. Her nontraditional conversion has given her a ministry that touches the broken, addicted, hurting, and wounded person that is overlooked by mainstream traditional ministry; however, is at the center of God’s heart. The radical method by which she came to know God as her Father placed in her a love for God coupled with a desire to teach others to experience God beyond the confines of church and tradition.

In 2006, a question by a co-worker who wanted to know what was it about her that made her stand out was the catalyst that birthed her first ministry. Her answer and her co-workers response, led Evangelist Kim Scott to share with others that they too can intimately know God, experience the power of God, and walk in the gifts he placed in them through her ministry, Daughters of Zion. This weekly bible study is a spirit led intense time of worship and study that ignites a desire to come into a deeper personal relationship with God and creates a craving to experience God on a higher level.

With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the help of her God sent mentors, Evangelist Kim Scott’s ministry has expanded and she is now a sought after speaker, teacher, and pastor. Her gifts of teaching and counseling allow to her speak life and hope into to those who need to hear a real word from God. Her life and ministry exude the glory of God. Everywhere she goes and every person encounters “Pastor Kim” as she is affectionately called, see as an opportunity to show the love God of others. She pastors alongside her husband, Zack at The Gathering-A Christian Community, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Evangelist Kim Scott is happily married to Zack Scott, the mother of three children, and the grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren.

The two of them have a heart to equip, train, and connect believers in the body of Christ to do the works of Jesus Christ. Benjamin and Janice are passionate about loving God and others, and bringing the Presence of God to others.
